The rooms, pool and grounds were great. Rooms come with everything you need. Pool gets very warm by mid morning as it's only shallow at 1.3 metres. We were lucky to have great views of the golf course and mountains. Staff are wonderful and very helpful. It is a little way out of the main street of Port Douglas so you'll need to drive into town although there is a local bus and a shuttle for $11 each way pp.

We used them for our entire trip of 5 days and we never waited more than 7 minutes. Sometimes they were like 30 seconds.

The hotel resort was simply everything you could ask for. Super clean.
All staff were professional, AMAZING and very accommodating. The pool is huge and fabulous. We had the best of both rooms. The mountain view room which looks out to the pool, mountains and gold course. The swim up pool rooms were the best. Pool at your own private gate. WOW.
Such a great spot for a family holiday. We were lucky enough to have a car as you are a little way out from the main streets of Port.

I recently stayed at the Pool Resort in a plunge pool apartment for 7 nights as I was in Port Douglas for a wedding. The apartment was clean and spacious and we had lots of privacy. The connecting patio at the back overlooking the golf course made it very easy to connect with other family in different apartments. The main pool was fantastic and having our own plunge pool we could use at any time was fantastic. Special thanks to Heather and Norm who booked tours for us and who were always on hand to answer any questions. They also booked an airport shuttle for a family member who came up later than everyone else. I would stay here again any time. Thanks for such a memorable time.
Our party of 5 stayed in a 3BD apartment in Aug 2023. It was great for us. Lots of space in the bedrooms, kitchen area, pantry, and more. Nice for us to be able to eat breakfasts in the apartment and occasional dinner take-outs. Pool especially fun for lap swimming. A little cool temperature but get moving and it's fine. Loved the sunsets in the evenings from our patio and watching and listing to the birds and other wildlife. Location is great, you need a car but it's an easy 5-7 minute drive into town and you can also get pickups at the hotel for reef cruises. Front desk staff always very friendly and helpful. We greatly enjoyed our stay!
The design of kitchen and bathroom, did not allow enough bench space. You had to be careful not to jam fingers when closing sliding doors. The stairs to the upper rooms were too steep. The swimming pools were magnificent. The location is only 5 mins drive to Port Douglas.
Recently stayed at Pool Port Douglas. We had a swim up apartment which had access to a lap pool at the back of the property as opposed to the main large pool. We loved the privacy of this apartment. Very clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Would definitely consider staying here again.
